"...the system embeds automatic consequences into the [promises political candidates make to their constituents]. [Break any such promises], penalties kick in automatically. No human judgement. No appeals process. Just algorithms and accounting."
For example, Trump could have posted his entire fortune as collateral into some such smart contract promising to deliver full disclosure of the Epstein files to the American public by March 1, 2024 (or to never pass a budget that increased the national debt by a cent), or automatically transfer said wealth to a trust to be automatically distributed to all constituents providing proof of having cast their vote for him.
"...once they sign, they've traded away their ability to change course."
No Epstein files by March 1, 2024 (or budget passed with your signature that increases national debt), boom fortune gone.
Kidding aside, I think something like this is needed by all future political candidates, to counter the bribery/blackmail that drives most of their decisions. If a system is devised to enable it, then any candidate posting collateral along with their pledged promises will make their opponents look pretty bad if they opt not to do the same with their own promises. Thinking someone like Thomas Massie could get this ball going very well...
Your articles make it increasingly clear who and what is behind all this "advanced scientific" thinking. Hackles rise like an angry cat just watching these sneaky, high-sounding creeps inch closer to their real goal of taking all of us over with their "common good" scam. Eff that and all those who are in on it. You can feel how cocky they are slinging their pseudo-intellectual slop while falsely thinking us poor herds of mindless protoplasm will never see through it. No worries about how to 'handle' it. Their multiple genocidal programs underway should shut us all up for good.
