very good overview from the monetary angle, or the reasons for the wars.. thanks...
my only quibble "the plan ignored the actual sources of the terrorism" the source of 9-11 was an inside job.. blaming it on ksa and etc, was a very nice distraction that most people accepted at face value... i don't share that viewpoint...
i just mentioned thatin a comment a moment ago, as well... there is a fair amount of speculation in this article and yet, it is still quite good and connects a lot of dots...
If true, the latest developments aid to Iran viz: Russian S500 air defence system and 40 aircraft, Chinese satellite targeting intel, NK sale of 500 of their latest ICBMs (just capable if hitting US Eastern seaboard and capable of nuclear payloads), could all be significant game-changers. Russia and especially China, know the 'US' game plan and thus have a vested interest in supporting Iran, if only to use it as a buffer zone to absorb damage rather than it being in their territory.
As for the US Marines, I woukd look to them being deployed to interdict all shipping in international waters outside of the Hormuz Straits to choke off all oil/gas flows - to China in particular. The Corps was repurposed to this role several years back when the traditional role of amphibious assault was deemed too expensive and unsustainable in modern combat theatres. Landings on Islands is likely just distraction for the chattering classes.
that’s not my argument. my argument is that an mBridge-Agora competition is being fostered, to obviously replace the aging SWIFT. i look at the infrastructure layer beneath the currency layer.
mBridge favours China, Agora the west - but it doesn’t matter, because the BIS wins in the end. the underlying currency denomination does not matter at all.
as for the petrodollar - oil is already selling in competing currencies. it’s ultimately about the sovereign debt markets, where the USD still reigns supreme.
those stablecoins, ftr, are still operating on the same BIS architecture.
the us initiative of banning CBDCs but focusing on stablecoins in essence is the implementation of a CBDC layer through private corporations. but it all runs on the same architecture.
the BIS's own unified ledger blueprint explicitly prefers central bank money at the core, with private tokens as a supervised layer on top. that's the US solution.
Since 2020, I have learnt something new and shocking every week/month, and needed to integrate it into a larger view. A huge step each time. Each time I think - that's it, I have completed my understanding. And then more comes....it does not end. God knows how I would explain this to the average person, what passes for news on the MSM is cartoonish.
the moral case justifies the standard. the standard defines what gets measured. the measurement determines the price. the price forces adoption. adoption produces the physical result.
understand that, really understand it, and you understand the spine of what's taking place in the world today
Loss of respect for international law; narcissist and freakish dictators; aggressive and merciless invasions; casual invocations of massive violence even to the point of threatening the future of the human species itself; repulsive disrespect for the natural world; and the evaporation of meaningful democracy amidst unbelievably obscene divisions of wealth that empower vain, stupid and greedy plutocrats and their toadies to do vain, stupid and greedy things - this is the refeudalization of society, without even those redeeming things that in feudal times or earlier might have heralded a brighter future (at least they built cathedrals and started universities).
no they dont have abhorrent ethics. the ethics is sustainable development, planetary stewardship yada yada - the key is not the ethic itself.
the key to understanding is that someone has to translate that ethic into a standard. what does the ethic mean in practise.
no-one ever speaks of that for a reason.
then suddenly you hear of some technocratic organisation applying that standard. that's where you commonly see greedy billionaires on, say, the. board of peace. but that evaluative clearing layer does not set the standard.
should you get rid of those greedy billionaires, the standard remains. that's the trick.
But esc, the desires of normal people never get translated into these power structures, which are monopolised by the billionaire class.
Do you see a valid, workable, mechanism for eliminating the greedy billionaires from the very same structure/standard they set up?
Gaza has been levelled and genocided to provide the clearance necessary for billionaire "reconstruction." This is what it will be for all of us. The Data centres are despoiling farmland and our natural environment.
The SYSTEM/STANDARD cannot in practice be severed from the POWER structures that put it in place. The system is in fact designed to perpetuate the power imbalance. Ordinary people do not feature in these power structures except as pawns.
Wait...refeudalization??? Isn't Iran already feudal? Or, is murdering tens of thousands of unarmed citizens for voicing disagreement with their government the new high watermark of enlightened globalism?
Thank you for your connecting of dots, it now begins to make very disturbing sense. I hope the breakers of communities never get to have comfortable sleep at night, ever!
Thank you. Credentials in this era are virtually meaningless as predictors of veracity. Results should, and do, face evaluation on their own merits. Yours pass most all tests.
So much blood on these useless breakers of things.
Control through choke-holds.
;-(
What a superb dissection of the clear driving impetus behind all the destruction.

How much of this paper is put in doubt by the authors's statement, "Saudi Arabia — where most of the 9/11 hijackers came from"?
i just mentioned thatin a comment a moment ago, as well... there is a fair amount of speculation in this article and yet, it is still quite good and connects a lot of dots...
Fair enough
That was put in italics though in the article, maybe there was a reason for that?
Thanks, what was it?
OMG. No words. Thank-you for your work once again.

Esc have you read this substack on the new US stablecoin?
You might reconsider the supposition that the Chinese yuan is being positioned to take over.

understand this
ethics - cognitive standard - evaluative clearing - behavioural settlement - outcome
the moral case justifies the standard. the standard defines what gets measured. the measurement determines the price. the price forces adoption. adoption produces the physical result.
understand that, really understand it, and you understand the spine of what's taking place in the world today
The problem being that those controlling the system have abhorrent ethics/moral standards and are forcing a deadly system on us.
Explaining this to other people is so difficult because their moral assumptions are based quite other to the "reality"

Americans left holding a useless dollar and sending its sons and daughters to fight for benefit of a selected few.
… while Europeans are left without energy.
They planned this well.
Interesting perspective. Peace here is not framed as an outcome, but as infrastructure.
The question is how that infrastructure defines participation.
Slavery is the participation in this "peace."
that's CAF's read
there is also a proposal for a second canal through Gaza to the Dead sea?? to the Gulf of Aqaba thence Red Sea.

Sabattean/Frankists continue the meritorious/notorious appellation of “BYWORD”
They make for bad neighbors, bad bankers, bad cabinet appointees, etc., ad nauseum.
The Begin-Sadat accord must have put a lot of noses out of joint...seems scarcely credible now...
ESC, what is your academic and/or professional background?
If you say systems analyst you’re not a million miles off

"Egypt, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia — where most of the 9/11 hijackers came from — were left untouched."
You just have to look at WTC Building Seven to realize the "hijacking" trope was a psyop.
