In 1953, Kenneth Boulding penned a book1, outlining early corruption of the central church organisations of America, through arbitrary definitions of 'ethics' outlined by social scientist in a study carried out through... Rockefeller funding.
He would then co-found the Society for General Systems Research2, even become their first president3. Incidentally, the initiative for this society came through the AAAS, who have a track record of... Rockefeller funding4.
The objective of the group - general systems theory5 - was to consider the entire biosphere a programming model, where everything centred around arbitrary definitions of what comprise a 'system', from the microscopic scale all the way up to the entire biosphere. And this ideology attracted the attention of a great many impressive psychopaths thus joining as members, who in no uncertain terms thought no more but of humans being cells in a larger organism.
One such psychopath was Edward Goldsmith6, noted co-founder of the UK 'Green' Party, who in the society's 1971 annual outlined in his epic; 'The Limits of Growth in Natural Systems'7 that a free society constituted one on the path to self-destruction, and thus the more rigid societal structure, the better. Incidentally, this structure should be surveilled, and 'cells' controlled should they become an issue. He further outlined how migration leads to massacres of minority groups, in apparent conflict with the general ideology of the political party he founded. He finished off by declaring that families going through trouble should be manipulated towards breaking up, as this is in the interest of the greater system8.
Another noteworthy member is former Club of Rome member, Ervin Laszlo9, who would go on to found the Club of Budapest10, which strive to facilitate CoR co-founder Alexander King's Great Transition11 through a different angle, with this being a 'systems approach'. Contemporary references to said Great Transition are common, especially on the topics of Sustainable Development, Net Zero, and Carbon Footprints.
Incidentally, the Great Transition Initiative12 is run by Club of Rome-member Paul Raskin13, the Global Footprint Network14 is run by Club of Rome-member Mathis Wackernagel15, and the concept of a Carbon Footprint16 is accepted17 by the Network for Greening the Financial System18 initiative, run by central banks19 - and thus, the Bank for International Settlements - and they have the backing of almost every single financial institute of importance.
The ‘Spaceship Earth’20 theory launched in 1965, when Adlai Stevenson21 at his final United Nations appearance included the term in a speech of his delivered in Geneva. This was in 1966 followed by Barbara Ward’s22 similarly titled book, and Kenneth Boulding’s paper, ‘The Economics of the Coming Spaceship Earth‘23. Finally, Buckminster Fuller would further popularise this term, through his 1969 book ‘Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth‘24.
In the late 1960s, New York State started formulating new Land/Man use laws, where individual rights are stripped in favour of top-down planing. This went through systems theory25 to become the 'Ecosystem Approach', which gradually evolved until we saw the full definition arrive under Clinton/Gore26, in yet another initiative heavily influenced by... Rockefeller27. Incidentally, the governor of the state of New York at this time was... Nelson Rockefeller.
As said, the concept of Spaceship Earth is 'systems theory', a term also of use when describing the Circular Economy28, and Sustainable Development29. And without naming this expressly, it was latter which Barbara Ward described in two books, first 'Spaceship Earth', and then the Maurice Strong-commissioned 'Only One Earth'30, released at the inaugural UN meet on the environment in Stockholm, 1972.
It was incidentally around this time that the IIASA31 launched. They, too, believe that the universe is fundamentally a programming model, and having released the first paper on monetising carbon dioxide in 197532, they would go on to release a great33 many34 papers35 dragging in the 'Spaceship Earth' story just as well.
In the run-up to the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio, Maurice Strong requested the Rockefeller funded ICSU36 to be the chief science advisor, and they proceeded in 1991 to hold a conference - partnering with the IIASA - yielding the document ASCEND 2137. And this document would be of great benefit to the attendees in Rio, as large sections would be cut and pasted into the ultimate document, outlining the notorious Agenda 21.
In 1989, Pearce/Turner would release the highly referenced and influential book; 'Economics of natural resources and the environment'. This details the concept of Sustainable Development, how this relates to the Circular Economy, and explicitly refers to the 1966 Spaceship Earth paper by Kenneth Boulding being an early, influential work on the topic of said Circular Economy. This Pearce/Turner book would then be referenced by a great many highly influential works funded in official capacity including the European Union38, as the latter in 2022 went on to announce a 'Green Transition to a Circular Economy'39, which - as repeatedly stated above - is systems theory.
Beyond, the Spaceship Earth and Circular Economy theories, stating that we're really all just part of a 'greater system' thereby sharing the world view of a great many psychopathic Marxist control-freaks, would then go on to gather further support40 from41 Rockefeller42, Rothschild43, the European Union44, the World Economic Forum45, the Global Environment Fund46 and47 many48, many49 other50 luminaries51.
Yet, should you prefer to not use either of those terms, instead opting for Sustainable Development, that would be entirely acceptable, as those terms are largely interchangeable52.
And they all lead to 15-minute prison camps, global surveillance, vaccines, and equal carbon allowances for us all. Unless you're a forest-owning billionaire, of course, and can offset your private lear jets.
The Marxist dream of Utopia will finally come true.

Impressive work! While investigating these players, here's a database of all CFR members (1921-2020) you might find useful. Search the database by last name, or download the whole list in text format: modernhistoryproject.org/mhp?Entity
