Maybe she just didn't consider that angle but I saw it play out perfectly with Assange who went from hero of the people to 'rapey deviant' when the owners deployed their shills at the Guardian to play the man not the war crimes. Long game here. Esc playing it correctly as far as I can see.

The systemised mind 'thinks' a systemic worldview.
Cultural frameworks of ideas shape the mind+world as a perception-response.
There is clearly an intent, agenda and funded business of shaping the mass mind into systemic compliance which seeks to incentivise outcomes or goals that mask as good, protective or progressive while acting without moral integrity - that is to say via coercion and deceit.
Identity/world-views run as operating systems in terms of fear, guilt and masking manipulation. If there is a difference in our modern or post modern era it is the technologism of ideas as a cage.
The biotech layer doesn't not need to be based on fact but simply to be believed as threat and 'solution. The ability to deceive is the use of the mind for masking out truth as private gain of function, that de facto generates 'war' against truth.
So I don't see a 'new' operating system so much as a contraction of the existing mindset running in a death spiral - and the revealing of such to the living is the opportunity to choose differently. The basis FOR choosing is where freedom is exercised -NOT within false framed 'choices'.
If our only sense of life and living is a conceptualised symbolic 'connection' then the breakdown of masking concepts opens to a living quality that we do not manufacture or control. The ego-mind does not like this - and may demonise life from an alienated 'system' of control that progressively 'wars on the living' as a means to diminish (awareness of) risk - or fear, pain and loss in terms of a vested self/collective identification.
