Another great article

Regarding Egler and Carson

According to Lear’s biography of Carson, she wasn’t being manipulated by Egler — she sought him out because his independent scientific work on pesticides supported what she was already documenting. Both were fighting the chemical industry. Egler had become “angry and disillusioned” at the beleaguered state of science — a concern he and Carson often discussed.

Regarding Gorbachev it seems you’re implying that Gorbachev was being deceptive but given what was happening during those times, isn’t it just as likely that he was being deceived?

Why don't you ask Jeffrey Sachs?

You were not kidding when you said “Deep Dive” I always put Golitsyn with the dodgy (to say the least) Bezmentov. I will have to reconsider.

BTW do you have a favorite Adam Curtis video?

My favorite is Century of the Self. Although recently I queried “Where is Adam Curtis?” and came across this 5 part series, which indeed is very good. Check it out.

Phenomenonal job and perhaps the most well read I could find.

What fascinates me is how I as a young boy in the 2000s I was put in the gifted program, and encouraged to question authority but not the green washing and overpopulation agendas. Blessings

This is a deep dive requiring specialised gas mixtures, redundant life-support systems, and advanced decompression equipment (to manage the extreme pressure and narcosis risk). Incredible summary once again by esc.

Another tl:dr; for me and Zev Naveh and other such names triggered my antisemitism so I need a drink!

I'm glad you did add a summary at the end , so here's a request for such an outline of the article clearly marked at the end or beginning of every article, for the shorter attention spans and "limited screen time" folks! Cheers!!

Another magnificent piece of investigative journalism.

Must have been quite a lot of work to deduct the underlying long-term agenda from the apparent contradictional facts.

"Playing advanced Dig Dug", brings back fond memories of the simple, fantastic 8-bit era—in my case with an Atari 800 XL—when I wasn't a teenager yet.

'Officially' David Rockefeller traveled to Moscow in 1964 as part of an unofficial delegation of prominent Americans to discuss the possibilities of increased U.S.-Soviet trade and closer cultural exchange.

While attending a conference in Leningrad, he was surprisingly summoned by Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev for a private 2 1/2-hour meeting. During their discussion, Khrushchev heavily pushed for increased bilateral trade and a loosening of economic restrictions between the two Cold War rivals.

As the head of Chase Manhattan Bank and a symbol of Western capitalism, Rockefeller served as a key go-between for the Soviets to gauge the U.S. government's appetite for improved commercial relations. Rockefeller reached out to the U.S. State Department prior to his trip to understand the official conditions under which trade with Russia could be expanded.

Khrushchev's unexpected ouster later that same year ultimately paused many of these diplomatic and economic overtures, though Rockefeller's groundwork helped eventually pave the way for Chase Manhattan Bank to open the first branch of an American bank in Moscow nearly a decade later.

...Speaking of 'getting a foothold' amidst apparent tensions between two superpowers.

Reality usually has two faces when it comes to the interests of big capital, as can be distilled from this article:

https://www.wsj.com/science/environment/rockefeller-exxon-feud-ed816647

containing the quote:

"Rockefeller Sr. was a deeply religious man who cared about all of God’s creation, according to (Miranda) Kaiser. 'If he had somehow known that there was this dark side to [fossil fuel], I fully believe he would have changed his business model,' she said."

Seriously?
