If, in fact, all of our thoughts, ideas and beliefs are monitored by these systems they must take into account the pulse of the masses that is defiant, non-compliant, that rejects their authority. It becomes a self-congratulatory metric, "see, we have 98% approval and obedience" review of data that omits the voices that rejects them. The election results of dictators that declare 98% voted for the ruling party...of people who voted...with a knife at their throat.
Yes, we must reject digital currency, use cash as much as we can, build parallel systems of sustenance and exchange of services. Yet our voices of defiance must remain inside the system's view, data. While they still choose to veto our leadership choices, override our preferences they must still know they tread on dangerous thin ice.
Our voices of defiance and contempt for them, their authority acts as a check on them fully exercising their power, the power flex they wish to make and seize it all in one fell swoop. They see our numbers, it regulates them, gives them pause. To silence ourselves at this point is to surrender without so much as a bullet being fired. They will read the disappearance of voices that challenge them as victory, the remaining visible voices become a mop-up operation.
I reject that strategy. It is selfish and short-sighted. It is enough to be aware of their designs, to build parallel systems. But our voices must not be silenced by fear. We must exercise our freedom of speech in greater numbers, not fewer. Or lose it forever. And condemn ourselves to live in the shadows, nay, to survive in the shadows. For that simply won't be living.

That in fact you are describing how to live without such systems; that you are describing the creation of the exact opposite; a living freedom for the individual minds of humanity. I wouldn’t go that far. We’re not going to stop the march of systems. The last person to object ended up with a bullet in Dallas in 1963. What I vehemently oppose is the way it’s been carried out, and the way it indiscriminantly has transferred power to the few while the media has lied about it non stop.
Technology is meant to liberate but they’ve used it to enslave. The least they could do was allow a bloody discussion on the topic rather than just lie about it.
Reducing exposure, encryption, privacy as reaction to anticipatory exclusion from society is a self-censorship prescription. Say your thoughts loudly and proudly. Endeavor to get ON the naughty list. Demonstrate to others fearless unwoke, defiant speech, point the flag towards the enemies of free speech. Antagonistically. Show others bravery, not avoidance of hazard.
If those in the UK, Germany, France, etc who saw people arrested and fined for "dangerous" and "offensive" chose to defy, en masse, greater numbers speaking dangerously and offensively authorities would've stopped, not enough jail cells and judges. But they complied, hid their true thoughts, now speak in closed circles, communities of like-minded. Isolated. Just. Like. Authorities. Want. It's self-censorship. Wrong approach. We stand up, don't get bullied. We stand with free speakers even if we don't agree with what they are saying. Because we must. Our voice being silenced is next. As an aside as a lot of people confuse three different levels:
Managerial class: people who implement policies decided by the governing class, that is people like von Der Leyen, Summers, Milley, CFOs, ... They are often consulted by the governing class, but do not decide the strategies. Their careers usually are "affiliated" with some members of the governing class.
Governing class: people who decide which policies to follow to realize the goals of the ruling class, that is people like Pelosi, Biden, Romney, Rumsfeld, Rubio, CEOs, ... They are as a rule consulted by the ruling class, and have somewhat wide decisional power, but only as to policies, not as to goals. Their power and roles are "sponsored" by the ruling class.
Ruling class: people who decide which goals should be reached and leave strategizing and implementing largely to the governing class and the managerial class, that is people like Wall Street magnates, Adelson, Musk, ...
Note: arguably there is further upper layer which is the "dynastic class" which is made of the older women ("matrons", grandmothers, empress-dowagers, ...) of the "ruling class" and controls the reproductive decisions of the ruling class.
An important question about someone in office or power or rulership is "what is their power base?": managerial class people do not have their own power base, governing class people may have a power base but usually it is relatively small and depends on the "sponsorship" of the ruling class, and ruling class people have their own independent power base (once upon a time mostly military force, then land wealth, then industrial might, then financial and tech power).

What happened for a century or two is that progress in travel but not in communications and the discovery of the Americas and the creation of big cities enabled people to cheaply go so far away to another country or continent or a city so big that it could not be subject to total surveillance.
What happened after that is that communication and surveillance technology have caught up with travel technology and nowadays it is almost as easy for the "authorities" to monitor and control a continental-sized country like the USA or even inter-continental inter-country monitor and control across the USA empire.

I have been advocating for monetary reform to change the paradigm from greed to care, from debt money to asset money with these folks; greens.money - monetaryalliance.org - monetary.org ....all here in the US. It is a vast and powerful system as you so well describe. I think money is the 'leverage point', the point where a small change changes the entire system, that is currently being pushed in the wrong direction. Do you agree?

They only think , they know who we are . In my experience ….they can’t analyse their way into or out of a toilet. ( rest room for American).
