'Technocracy Inc's energy certificates, which likewise cannot circulate or accumulate — non-transferable ration tickets tied to energy units rather than labour time.'

And yet my reading of Technocracy Inc was the premise that energy is super abundant and a non issue in terms of availability. Are they lying or illogical?

thats the sales pitch

2 decades on, mk hubbert - who co-authored the technocracy study course - is telling you about peak oil, and that we need to tigthly monitor its use

golly, what a coincidence, right?

I was a peak oil nut for years. There is a great deal to discuss in this area but I know that much oil availability has been politically 'locked up' (Iran and Russia) and that the Third British Empire never let it out of their greedy little hands. What about Odum? Where does he and his missus fit in?

There is so much to say on this. Firstly I imagine Marx, Bogdanov et al imagine the human brain needs to consciously think analytically about where each blood vessel travels and how much oxygen allocation it would receive. This line of mechanistic thinking makes a machine of living systems and therefore kills them - as we have seen historically each time bureaucratic communism has been applied to human societies.

Mass death.

The naturally emergent relationships that peer to peer financial exchange allows, creates diverse and robust culture and societies able to withstand supply chain and resource variations. Marx was a lunatic suck-up to the banks and just wanted to be loved by arseholes it seems. Maybe his dad was dud. Who knows, but he aint no friend of mine down the ages.

The only reason I make personal attacks on a dead man is because this is personal. Anyone writing blueprints for how to effectively enslave me and curtail the flowering of diverse culture deserves scorn till we are back in the garden.
