One of the reasons I see for the brazenness under Starmer and almost all leading politicians is that although you have brilliantly defined the morals/ethics frameworks that coerce citizenship in the managed directions, we saw under the umbrella of the fraudulent scamdemic that force is not an issue.
This is being scaled in the background as architecture of control through less soft means.
Disagree (respectfully!) with you on force not being an issue.
From where i sit the *implicit threat* of violence constituted extremely effective psychological manipulation of the violence card without actually playing it.
The *potential* for violence at any moment always underlay 'govt' actions
Akin to an abusive parent or headmaster who makes it clear he/she is perpetually poised and even enthusiastic to deploy the paddle or belt to, er, redirect whatever is defined by 'the authorities' as 'misbehaviour'...
No jab, no job, for instance. Thus no food & ultimately no family. Huge level of implicit violence... (leaving aside the actions of cops & their reluctant horses during the endgame unleashed on the amazing Canadian Freedom Convoy in my nation's capital city !!!! )

Finding it *much* better for comprehension, full absorption, & quiet contemplation -- as well as markup, margin notes, hilighting, connection-building inside my brain -- to capture the type and (in 10-pt font) print it out.
Sane Francisco noted the other day a plan to go back to the beginning of the esc Substack opus and tackle each piece in chronological order. Tempted to follow that lead, once I get more settled with a fuller handle on the scope of esc thinking...

a lot of the early ones are somewhat over the place as i didn't really have much of a deeper understanding, nor structure. a few of the early essays in fact i didn't even bother proof reading because my mind had moved on, so expect a few of not necessarily the highest quality early on with lots of spelling mistakes etc
it was initially the plan to 'port' a number of my twitter threads across, but doing that bored the living *beep* out of me, so i abandoned that plan fairly rapidly.
