In Finland the mink were culled due to bird flu, not a COVID mutation.

It seems the European heads of state did not get their stories straight.

Clearly someone wanted to get rid of mink (and foxes) used for fur clothing. A rival furrier? A test to see what we the people would put up with? Of course, the populace assumes the government is acting in good faith to save them, and who really cares about mink farmers?

But in Finland, vaccines did come into the story. It was the mink farmers who were asked to test a human bird flu vaccine.
